Overview

A Sales Order (SO) in StockUnify is a document that records products or services sold to a customer. It helps you manage your sales process, from order creation to delivery and invoice synchronization with Xero.

With StockUnify, you can easily create, edit, fulfill, and track sales orders while keeping your inventory levels accurate across multiple locations.

Create a Sales Order

Creating a sales order in StockUnify is quick and flexible. You can create an order in several ways:

  1. Add products manually — Search by product name, SKU to add items to the order.
  2. Add products by scanning barcode — scan a barcode to add items to the order.
  3. Import products via CSV file — Bulk import multiple items to save time.
  4. Convert a quote to a sales order — When a quote is accepted, you can generate a sales order directly.
  5. Convert a purchase order to a Sales Order — Quickly convert a purchase order to a sales order.

Partially deliver a Sales Order

You can partially deliver a sales order, when the sales order is save as "Back order" or "Approved", you can see a "Deliver and Pack" button on the sales order page.

For a sales order, we support you download the packing slip, invoice(StockUnify generated) and packing note

The PDF layout is fully customizable, you can design your own template using placeholders such as {orderNumber}.
